Public Option Death Panels Already Here in Oregon… Coming Soon To A Health Care Plan Near You
You can rest assured that the people in Oregon were not sold their publicly funded health care plan on the basis of rationing and "death panels". That's exactly what they got though. When a government run health care plan has to decide on whether or not to pay for a cancer patients treatment costing thousands or assisted suicide costing hundreds the choice is easy. Watch this video and see and hear for yourself the results of letting the government decide who gets treatment and who does not.
The person in charge of running Oregon's plan denies that the letter saying that treatment for the woman's cancer would be denied, (twice more on appeals), but that the state would pay for her doctor to help her kill herself was just
"an unfortunate interpretation of the letter."
It was especially unfortunate for her. He went on to explain the way the decisions on health care under a public option are made by saying:
".... If we invest thousands and thousands of dollars in one persons days to weeks we are taking away those dollars from someone."
Sounds like rationing to me. When there is a decision made not to treat someone and to let that person die who makes that decision. Oregon has decided it's not the patient or the doctor... it's the uhhh lets see what we should call it. The "life panel?" No that's no good. The uhhh "get the treatment you need panel?" Nope, that won't do either guess we'll just have to go with the "DEATH PANEL". Works for me.
Let The One say what he will about "death panels", but when government becomes the decision maker YOU BECOME A BUDGET ITEM and your health takes a back seat to the states financial health. Stay on top of this and let your representative know how you feel.
Obama’s Diggin’ Off Shore Drillin’… and Paddin’ the Pockets Of His Buddy George Soros
WTF? The One has finally seen the light concerning the need to expand off shore drilling capabilities. He's going to loan 2 billion dollars to help the U.S.... no wait that's not right. He's actually loaning Brazil the money to expand their off shore capabilities.
We can't drill in Alaska, off the coast of Florida, the east coast or the west coast. We can't develop nuclear power plants, clean coal capabilities, or build refineries. What we can do is take 2 billion dollars we don't even have and loan them to one of the largest corporations in the Americas so that they can utilize their natural resources while we make our own off limits. Again I ask WTF?
"The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a "preliminary commitment" letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion..."
No need to wonder why too long though. Thanks to Gateway Pundit following the money we can see it 's just another billion dollar payback for one of The One's biggest supporters, George Soros.

Obama Still Lying About Healthcare Reform Details
The One is still telling us that we'll be able to keep our current doctor or insurance plan if we want to. That's a lie. This article in the New York Post by Betsy Mccaughey gives a quick breakdown on how Obama is either lying to us or hasn't bothered to read what's in the bills (probably both). Not reading them would put him in the same league as our reps and senators though wouldn't it? Here are a few choice pieces:
The bills now before Congress would force you to switch to a managed-care plan with limits on your access to specialists and tests.
Two main bills are being rushed through Congress with the goal of combining them into a finished product by August. Under either, a new government bureaucracy will select health plans that it considers in your best interest, and you will have to enroll in one of these "qualified plans." If you now get your plan through work, your employer has a five-year "grace period" to switch you into a qualified plan. If you buy your own insurance, you'll have less time.
And as soon as anything changes in your contract -- such as a change in copays or deductibles, which many insurers change every year -- you'll have to move into a qualified plan instead (House bill, p. 16-17).
When you file your taxes, if you can't prove to the IRS that you are in a qualified plan, you'll be fined thousands of dollars -- as much as the average cost of a health plan for your family size -- and then automatically enrolled in a randomly selected plan (House bill, p. 167-168).
If you thought that was bad just wait until you become a senior citizen:
One troubling provision of the House bill compels seniors to submit to a counseling session every five years (and more often if they become sick or go into a nursing home) about alternatives for end-of-life care (House bill, p. 425-430). The sessions cover highly sensitive matters such as whether to receive antibiotics and "the use of artificially administered nutrition and hydration."
This mandate invites abuse, and seniors could easily be pushed to refuse care. Do we really want government involved in such deeply personal issues?

Obama Raising Medical Costs Not Lowering Them… Complicating Health Care Not Simplifying It
The One needs to read what Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Elmendorf warned lawmakers about.
Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Elmendorf warned lawmakers the legislation that he has seen so far would raise costs, not lower them. Elmendorf was asked by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-N.S., if the bills Congress is considering would "bend the cost curve." The budget director responded: "The curve is being raised."
It won't take long before the line from The One changes to "Health care reform wasn't really intended to cut costs or simplify it was to... (insert bullsh?t here). Speaking of simplifying, check this chart out and tell me if you think this "plan" has any chance of actually streamlining anything.
Mind numbing isn't it? Call or email your representative or senator now and tell them to VOTE NO! We can still stop this.

Cap and Tax... National Energy Tax... or my personal favorite... "a pile of sh#t" to quote Rep. John Boehnor. These are the names folks with common sense call The Ones Cap and Trade bill. You won't get the administration to call it that though. They want to call it a global warming bill or a climate bill, or some other cute and fuzzy name. BS! This is a huge tax on the American people. That would be YOU and me. I already know it, but if you're not paying attention to what's happening in Washington you don't.

The House voted on this monstrosity without even reading it. They don't even know what's in it. The Senate has voted on the last two monstrosities... the stimulus and the budget, without reading them. The amount of control over your life and liberty this bill takes away from you is breathtaking and they didn't even have the decencey to read it. Look again at the the costs above and think how just these will affect your life and then realize that it's being done for this:
"...a 90-year program that, as calculated by climatologists, will lower temperatures by only hundredths of a degree in 2050 and no more than two-tenths of a degree at the end of the century. ...all for a change in world temperature that might not be noticeable."
This is nuts and we have to stand up now and stop it. Contact your senator, do it now and do it often. Be a royal pain in their A#S. Be persistent but polite. Find a TeaParty in your area and GO. Get involved and we can still turn this thing around.

Obama: Nuisance to Nightmare
It's been three months since my last post and I had hoped that the craziness would subside and reason or at least some semblance of it might just appear out of the blue or somethin'. Who was I kidding? The One, the Senate, and the House have gone from crazy to crazy dangerous. They've gone from being a nuisance to a nightmare. The difference being— all you have to do to get rid of a nightmare is wake up. Waking up's only the first thing we're gonna have to do.
So much has happened in such a short time. This statist administration is moving at breakneck speed to take as much liberty and freedom from us as possible. It's not just democrats either, there were eight repubes today willing to sell out their constituents and their country for some kind of payoffs or earmarks. We don't know what they received yet, but there's no doubt they got something. We'll know soon enough. Here are their names and numbers just in case you don't know:

Those eight made the difference... the final vote on the Cap and Tax bill was 219 - 212. Without the eight statist repubes this bill does not pass. We can still make sure that the senate does not pass this disaster though. Do not let up.
It's no longer a republican or democrat thing, it's a freedom and liberty thing. These tools in the house, the senate, and the whitehouse want power... nothing else. There is no other way to explain their actions. Look, they passed a bill in the house tonight based on an assumption — man-made global warming — the rest of the world is coming to realize is crap. They also ignored the pitiful economy killing results of a country — Spain — who has already forced "greening the economy" on it's people. Their results being a cost of 0,000 - .4 million per "green job" created and around 2 jobs lost for every one new "green job"' created. Spain is who The One used as his example for who we should emulate. I think someone put some crack in the cigarettes our Dear Leader has been smoking.
Knowing only these facts makes it impossible to believe they have America's best interest in mind. It can only be their best interest that they're thinking of. Screw them!!! They will continue unless we stop them by getting rid of their worthless butts next election. DO IT!!
Obama’s Economic Policy is Just Bush’s Economic Policy on Steroids
That's why it sucks. The One is busy taking the things that really blew in Bush's economic plan and like Hans und Franz is "pumping them up". It's amazing that someone who has spent and is still spending time daily bashing the former president is really a closet Bush supporter. He must be because he is just repackaging Bush's mistakes and expanding them to make them entirely his own. This article from the Heritage Foundation explains what I mean. Here is an excerpt:
President Obama has framed his budget as a break from the "failed policies" of the Bush Administration. Actually, his budget doubles down on President George W. Bush's borrow, spend, and bailout policies. For example:
- President Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion through 2008. President Obama would add another $1 trillion.[3]
- President Bush began a string of expensive financial bailouts. President Obama is accelerating that course.[4]
- President Bush created a Medicare drug entitlement that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade. President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on a new government health care fund.
- President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation. President Obama would double it.[5]
- President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. President Obama has already increased this spending by 20 percent.[6]
- President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers. President Obama would continue that trend.[7]
For someone who constantly complains and reminds us about the mess he has inherited he isn't trying to change things he is just doing alot more of the same things.
