SEIU’s Andy Stern Seems A Little Uninformed
The president of the SEIU Andy Stern, The One’s most frequent white house visitor, has a real bad grasp on basic math. He seems to believe that the republicans have stood in the way of passing health care reform. I’m not sure, but the democrats have 60 votes in the senate and more than enough in the house to pass anything they want. The republicans have no power to stop them… none.
The democrat failure to take over the health care system is entirely their own problem. Andy needs to do a little soul searching and come to terms with his buddy Obama’s crew. They are the problem not the republicans. Quit whining Andy.

Senator Jim Webb Calls For Halt In Health Care Vote
From The Politico:
In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process. It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated.
This statement from Webb is good for the current situation, but the fact that he knows that it was indeed a referendum on openness and integrity in government and restoring the respect of the American people in our government and leaders says volumes. It says that he didn’t have a problem with all the shady deals, bribes and back door deals until now. Now that he knows his political future is in jeopardy. Too late Jim.

The Senate’s Health Care Reform… I Mean Takeover. The Facts – Part 5
This is more of a rant than anything else but it does bring out a few facts on how The One has managed to get this health care reform debacle this far… here goes.
If this health care reform bill is so awesome why are The One and his statist allies having to to pit one group against another to get it passed? Why do 48 other states taxpayers have to pay for deals made with Nebraska and Louisiana? Why do nearly 88% of employees in this country have to subsidize around 12%? Because the 12% are unions and they strong armed Mr. Hopenchange himself into screwing the vast majority of hard working Americans and doing it with a smile on his face.Check out this post from Dr. Zero.
This administration has made deals behind closed doors with no press or coverage of any kind. They have bought votes. Not just made deals based on principles or ideals, but down in the gutter, dirty, sleazy big money changing hands kinds of deals. They have made deals not with their money, but with ours. The Obamessiah, Pelosi, and Reid made these deals behind closed doors but they did it in front of everybody. They do not care that we don’t want this and they don’t care that we know they are making deals with our money without our consent. Who the hell do they think they are? I’ll tell you. They think they are invincible, all knowing, and right now they think they are all powerful. They are wrong.
Hopefully Scott Brown will remind them of that fact tomorrow. We will remind them in a big way in November!

The first half of this doesn’t do much for me because I never considered voting for The One or any other statist. The fact that they were looking to the government to make things better is actually kind of sad, but they seem to have come to their senses. Check it out.

Obama and Democrats Threaten Our National Security To Get Healthcare Takeover
There are truly no limits for the liberals/statists in this administration. According to Michael Goldfarb at the Weekly Standard the Obama administration is threatening to close Offutt Air Force Base. Offutt Air Force Base is the headquarters of STRATCOM… that would be the US Strategic Command. Located in Nebraska Offutt has become the latest weapon in The One’s arsenal. He is using it to threaten Sen. Ben Nelson into voting for the Obamacare monstrosity. A senate staffer said that this was a:
“naked effort by Rahm Emanuel and the White House to extort Nelson’s vote.” They are “threatening to close a base vital to national security for what?
In a time of economic hardship and world turmoil the Obamessiah is willing to cripple the economy of the surrounding area, put thousands more people out of work and threaten our national security just to get control of your healthcare decisions. Keep calling and mailing and calling and mailing… we can still stop this.

But you need to get it too — you want to change the Republican Party and have a seat at the table, you’ve got to launch a coup against the establishment. And the best way to do that at the present time is support these candidates who are running against the establishment.

Public Option Death Panels Already Here in Oregon… Coming Soon To A Health Care Plan Near You
You can rest assured that the people in Oregon were not sold their publicly funded health care plan on the basis of rationing and “death panels”. That’s exactly what they got though. When a government run health care plan has to decide on whether or not to pay for a cancer patients treatment costing thousands or assisted suicide costing hundreds the choice is easy. Watch this video and see and hear for yourself the results of letting the government decide who gets treatment and who does not.
The person in charge of running Oregon’s plan denies that the letter saying that treatment for the woman’s cancer would be denied, (twice more on appeals), but that the state would pay for her doctor to help her kill herself was just
“an unfortunate interpretation of the letter.”
It was especially unfortunate for her. He went on to explain the way the decisions on health care under a public option are made by saying:
“…. If we invest thousands and thousands of dollars in one persons days to weeks we are taking away those dollars from someone.”
Sounds like rationing to me. When there is a decision made not to treat someone and to let that person die who makes that decision. Oregon has decided it’s not the patient or the doctor… it’s the uhhh lets see what we should call it. The “life panel?” No that’s no good. The uhhh “get the treatment you need panel?” Nope, that won’t do either guess we’ll just have to go with the “DEATH PANEL”. Works for me.
Let The One say what he will about “death panels”, but when government becomes the decision maker YOU BECOME A BUDGET ITEM and your health takes a back seat to the states financial health. Stay on top of this and let your representative know how you feel.

Obama’s Diggin’ Off Shore Drillin’… and Paddin’ the Pockets Of His Buddy George Soros
WTF? The One has finally seen the light concerning the need to expand off shore drilling capabilities. He’s going to loan 2 billion dollars to help the U.S…. no wait that’s not right. He’s actually loaning Brazil the money to expand their off shore capabilities.
We can’t drill in Alaska, off the coast of Florida, the east coast or the west coast. We can’t develop nuclear power plants, clean coal capabilities, or build refineries. What we can do is take 2 billion dollars we don’t even have and loan them to one of the largest corporations in the Americas so that they can utilize their natural resources while we make our own off limits. Again I ask WTF?
“The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil’s state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil’s Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil’s planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a “preliminary commitment” letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion…”
No need to wonder why too long though. Thanks to Gateway Pundit following the money we can see it ‘s just another billion dollar payback for one of The One’s biggest supporters, George Soros.
