If the fact that the CBO is “on record saying doing nothing would be better than what Obama is doing” were true, than why have all of Obama’s bills been passed by the very same people who are on the CBO? Do you also forget that EVERY depression or recession since the civil war has started under a republican and ended under a democrat?

The stimulus payments are not given to people who don’t pay taxes. The less money you make the less stimulus you receive AND pay for. The richest 10% of the country will end up paying 75% of what portion of the stimulus is payed from through taxes. Boo-hoo, rich people. Also, giving people who make above $200,000 a year $1000 check doesn’t do anything for the economy, however giving people who make less than $200,000 a year a $1,000 check DOES stimulate the economy. By the way, the latter group far exceeds the other in numbers.

If you’ve had any lessons is history you realize that the word “terrorist” has been tagged to every type of group from people who bomb buildings, to NGO’s that give aid to country’s declared by the government to be “non-friendly” the the U.S. (aka these countries didn’t give into our deceptive and exploitative “free trade and structural adjustments”). So maybe trying to understand why someone hates us enough to perform a terrorist act on our soil so we can work to change the things we’ve done to that particular group of people is more beneficial than simply labeling them “terrorists, radicals, and communists” and starting un-just wars that cost lives and sends US into a domestic economic, and geo-political crisis.

Making apologies is exactly what we should be doing. Since Obama has been making apologies our international approval rating has skyrocketed (even in countries that “harbor terrorists”!). The international policies of the US to exploit resources and labor for the past half-century have been the root cause of much of the suffering and death experienced by these impoverished nations. We oust democratically elected leaders in one country while saying we are bringing democracy in others. Of the 100 largest economies in the world, 47 are U.S. corporations, yet we claim to be rebuilding foreign economies when we really set them up to be tools for our own, hence why when our economy collapses, so do most others. Maybe read a book before watching Fox or listening to Rush. Be a free thinker, not a tool of corrupt government and corporation
