Cap and Tax… National Energy Tax… or my personal favorite… "a pile of sh#t" to quote Rep. John Boehnor. These are the names folks with common sense call The Ones Cap and Trade bill. You won't get the administration to call it that though. They want to call it a global warming bill or a climate bill, or some other cute and fuzzy name. BS! This is a huge tax on the American people. That would be YOU and me. I already know it, but if you're not paying attention to what's happening in Washington you don't.

Let me give you just a few things to think about, a few things to consider courtesy of The Heritage Foundation. Here's just a taste of how The One is about to screw you if you don't tell your senator to VOTE NO on this bill when it gets in front of them. Tell them it's either no on cap and trade or they go home come election time.

HOW IT AFFECTS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY PERSONALLY

1. Raises your electricity rates 90 percent after adjusting for inflation
   example: $500/mo to $950/mo
2. Raises your inflation-adjusted gasoline prices by 58 percent
   example: $2.50/gal to $3.95/gal
3. Raises your residential natural gas prices by 55 percent
   example: $300/mo to $465/mo
4. Raises your average family's annual energy bill by $1,241

HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR COUNTRY

• Reduce aggregate gross domestic product (GDP) by $9.4 trillion
  USA will be $9.4 trillion poorer in ten years than without it
• Destroy 1,145,000 jobs on average, with peak years seeing unemployment rise by over 2,479,000 jobs

The House voted on this monstrosity without even reading it. They don't even know what's in it. The Senate has voted on the last two monstrosities… the stimulus and the budget, without reading them. The amount of control over your life and liberty this bill takes away from you is breathtaking and they didn't even have the decencey to read it. Look again at the the costs above and think how just these will affect your life and then realize that it's being done for this:

"…a 90-year program that, as calculated by climatologists, will lower temperatures by only hundredths of a degree in 2050 and no more than two-tenths of a degree at the end of the century. …all for a change in world temperature that might not be noticeable."

This is nuts and we have to stand up now and stop it. Contact your senator, do it now and do it often. Be a royal pain in their A#S. Be persistent but polite. Find a TeaParty in your area and GO. Get involved and we can still turn this thing around.

It's been three months since my last post and I had hoped that the craziness would subside and reason or at least some semblance of it might just appear out of the blue or somethin'. Who was I kidding? The One, the Senate, and the House have gone from crazy to crazy dangerous. They've gone from being a nuisance to a nightmare. The difference being— all you have to do to get rid of a nightmare is wake up. Waking up's only the first thing we're gonna have to do.

So much has happened in such a short time. This statist administration is moving at breakneck speed to take as much liberty and freedom from us as possible. It's not just democrats either, there were eight repubes today willing to sell out their constituents and their country for some kind of payoffs or earmarks. We don't know what they received yet, but there's no doubt they got something. We'll know soon enough. Here are their names and numbers just in case you don't know:

Those eight made the difference… the final vote on the Cap and Tax bill was 219 - 212. Without the eight statist repubes this bill does not pass. We can still make sure that the senate does not pass this disaster though. Do not let up.

It's no longer a republican or democrat thing, it's a freedom and liberty thing. These tools in the house, the senate, and the whitehouse want power… nothing else. There is no other way to explain their actions. Look, they passed a bill in the house tonight based on an assumption — man-made global warming —  the rest of the world is coming to realize is crap. They also ignored the pitiful economy killing results of a country — Spain — who has already forced "greening the economy" on it's people. Their results being a cost of $750,000 - $1.4 million per "green job" created and around 2 jobs lost for every one new "green job"' created. Spain is who The One used as his example for who we should emulate. I think someone put some crack in the cigarettes our Dear Leader has been smoking.

Knowing only these facts makes it impossible to believe they have America's best interest in mind. It can only be their best interest that they're thinking of. Screw them!!! They will continue unless we stop them by getting rid of their worthless butts next election. DO IT!!

That's why it sucks. The One is busy taking the things that really blew in Bush's economic plan and like Hans und Franz is "pumping them up". It's amazing that someone who has spent and is still spending time daily bashing the former president is really a closet Bush supporter. He must be because he is just repackaging Bush's mistakes and expanding them to make them entirely his own. This article from the Heritage Foundation explains what I mean. Here is an excerpt:

President Obama has framed his budget as a break from the "failed policies" of the Bush Admin­istration. Actually, his budget doubles down on President George W. Bush's borrow, spend, and bail­out policies. For example:

• President Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion through 2008. President Obama would add another $1 trillion.[3]
• President Bush began a string of expensive finan­cial bailouts. President Obama is accelerating that course.[4]
  
• President Bush created a Medicare drug entitle­ment that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade. President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on a new govern­ment health care fund.
• President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation. Presi­dent Obama would double it.[5]
• President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. President Obama has already in­creased this spending by 20 percent.[6]
• President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers. President Obama would continue that trend.[7]

For someone who constantly complains and reminds us about the mess he has inherited he isn't trying to change things he is just doing alot more of the same things.

Did he convey the level of anger you hoped for regarding what you told him to say about AIG?

This was my bad. It’s tough to insert instructions, like [FROWN] or [SMILE], because in the heat of the moment, Big Guy might actually read it aloud, like "I am sorry [frown] that Senator Dodd and my Democratic colleagues on the Hill were singularly responsible for the AIG bonus protections." That would be embarrassing and possibly indicate to unsuspecting viewers that The Man was reading off a teleprompter. And we don't want that. And even if He did screw up, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that there is an electronic-shock mechanism on the podium used when he makes those kinds of mistakes … so far as you know.

In an interview with Spiegel The One's Homeland Security Chief shows that she is just as "uniquely qualified " to run this nations Homeland Security as Timothy Geithner is to run the Treasury Dept… not at all.

In the administration of The Obamessiah if an islamo fascist straps a bomb on their 3 year old son, walks him into a pizza parlor and detonates him causing the mutilation of any man, woman, or child nearby, or say a U.S. marine is captured and beheaded on film they are now victims of a man caused disaster not a terrorist. What a damn moron. Here is the excerpt from the interview:

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?

That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

Mind-boggling. The One is spending more in 6 weeks than all American presidents combined. He is willing to sign a budget with 9287 pork barrel spending projects. Which means that he has lied to, misled, or not told the truth to the American public once again. It doesn't matter how you say it the fact remains that Obama can not be trusted.

When he said that he was going to do things differently he must have meant differently than someone with common sense would do them. 9287 earmarks is insane. Check out this "short" list of pork. You will be amazed at what your congressman wants to spend your money on. I have to point out my senator from Alabama Richard Shelby has a few things on the list like $800,000 for oyster rehab and $819,000 for catfish genome research. He will hear from me. Make sure that your's hears from you.

In the past six months, Congress has enacted a $700 billion financial bailout and a $1.1 trillion stimulus. It has also expanded health insurance subsidies and is considering an expensive homeowner bailout. Now, with an 8 percent discretionary spending hike, Congress has seemingly lost the ability to say "no." Runaway spending and budget deficits threaten to steeply increase interest rates and eventually result in painful tax increases. If Congress cannot even reduce the number of pork projects in this environment, there is little reason to believe it is ready to make the truly difficult choices on large programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. If Congress cannot strip the unnecessary earmarks and pare back the spending increase in this omnibus bill, the President should show the nation he is well prepared to use his veto pen.

Even a recession and record $1.4 trillion budget deficit has not altered Congress's business-as-usual culture of spending and pork. While families and entrepreneurs are responsibly bringing their own budgets under control, Congress is spending and earmarking as if nothing has changed in the economy. The House has already passed—and the Senate will soon take up—a mammoth FY 2009 omnibus appropriation bill[1] that:

• Provides an 8 percent discretionary spending hike for the second consecutive year;
• Combines with the "stimulus" bill for a staggering 80 percent increase in these discretionary programs;
• May contribute to a permanent $2,000 per-household tax hike;
• Contains 9,287 pork projects at a cost of nearly $13 billion; and
• Likely terminates the Washington, D.C., school voucher program, removing 1,715 low-income students from their current schools.

This bill represents nearly everything Democrats had criticized about the earlier Republican Congresses. It forces lawmakers to vote quickly on a bloated package combining nine separate appropriations bills. It irresponsibly expands the already-record budget deficit. And despite strongly worded proclamations about cleaning up Washington, the 2009 appropriation bills will have the second-most earmarks in history. During this time of recession and skyrocketing budget deficits, America cannot afford budgets that continue to spend and earmark as usual.

Stay alert, keep an eye on The Obamessiah and this insane congress and stay in touch with your congressman and senators.

Obama The One, who during his campaign said that Israel had no better friend than him announced on valentines day that he is sending an American delegation to the UN sponsored Durban II conference. The purpose behind the Durban II conference is seeing how the declaration agreed on at the first Durban conference is being implemented. RealCearPolitics.com has a little taste of the Jew Hating that was Durban I:

At Durban, both the UN-sponsored NGO conclave and the UN's governmental conference passed declarations denouncing Israel as a racist state. The NGO conference called for a coordinated international campaign aimed at delegitimizing Israel and the right of the Jewish people to self-determination, and belittling the Holocaust.

The NGO conference also called for curbs on freedom of expression throughout the world in order to prevent critical discussion of Islam. As far as the world's leading NGOs - including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch - were concerned, critical discussions of Islam are inherently racist.

Spokesman for the State Department Gordon Duguid said that "If your not engaged you don't have a voice." He wants America's position to be out there on the table and hopefully influence the outcome of Durban II. Like most liberal ideas this one too is doomed to failure. Again from RealCearPolitics.com:

First, since the stated purpose of the Durban II conference is to oversee the implementation of the first Durban conference's decisions, and since those decisions include the anti-Israel assertion that Israel is a racist state, it is clear that the Durban II conference is inherently, and necessarily, anti-Israel.

The second reason that both the State Department and the White House must realize that they are powerless to affect the conference's agenda is because that agenda was already set in previous planning sessions chaired by the likes of Libya, Cuba, Iran and Pakistan. And that agenda includes multiple assertions of the basic illegitimacy of the Jewish people's right to self-determination. The conference agenda also largely adopted the language of the 2001 NGO conference that called for the criminalization of critical discussion of Islam as a form of hate speech and racism. That is, the 2009 conference's agenda is not only openly anti-Israel, it is also openly pro-tyranny, and so seemingly antithetical to US interests.

Beyond all that, assuming that the Obama administration truly wishes to change the agenda, the fact is that the US is powerless to do so. As was the case in 2001, so too, today, the Islamic bloc, supported by the Third World bloc, has an automatic voting majority. Beyond chipping away at the margins, the US has no ability whatsoever to change the conference's agenda or expected outcome.

The Obamessiah has spent his first month in office pretty much scaring the hell out of Israel. Every single decision Obama has made regarding Mid-East policy has been damaging to Israel's national security interests. With friends like The One who needs enemies?
